Sonet delivers seamless mobile connectivity solutions for global travelers. We are a digital service focussed on aggregating and distributing mobile data services. We collaborate with leading telecommunications providers across multiple countries and regions to bring their connectivity offerings directly to you via our platform. Through these partnerships, we enable instant access to eSIM technology that works wherever your journey takes you. "Sonet” (also referred to as “Sonet Mobile”) is a commercial brand operated by Solvegio Ltd (Ireland, Company No. 760451) with registered office at Unit #9, G5, 3015 Lake Drive, Citywest, Dublin, Ireland, D24DKP4. By using our website and services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and Terms of Sale. These Terms of Sale govern your access to and use of our services, all purchases (including purchases of eSIMs, mobile data plans, top-ups and any digital products), subscriptions, support, and any other features offered or sold by Sonet ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order on our website or mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Sale. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.
1. Scope of Services
Sonet provides digital mobile connectivity products, including:
- eSIM activation profiles
- Prepaid mobile data packages
- Top-ups and add-ons
- Travel connectivity bundles
Sonet acts as a reseller of mobile data services provided by third-party mobile network operators ("MNOs"). Sonet is not a mobile network operator itself.
2. Eligibility
To purchase and use Sonet eSIM products, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a compatible and network-unlocked device
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information during checkout
You are responsible for checking your device's eSIM compatibility before purchase.
3. Ordering Process
- Choose a product from our website or app
- Complete the checkout process
- Read and accept these Terms, the Refund Policy, and the Privacy Policy
- Make payment
- Receive your eSIM activation details
Once the eSIM QR code or activation information is displayed or delivered, the order is considered fulfilled.
4. Delivery of Digital Products
All eSIMs and data plans are delivered digitally and instantly.
Delivery occurs when the activation QR code or digital activation data is:
- Shown on the confirmation screen
- Sent via email
- Made available in your Sonet account/app
After delivery, you are responsible for the security and proper use of the eSIM.
5. Loss of Withdrawal Right (Digital Content Rule - EU Law)
By completing your purchase, you explicitly agree that:
- The eSIM is delivered immediately; and
- You lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the activation information is delivered.
This exception follows EU Directive 2011/83/EU, applicable to digital content delivered instantly.
6. Pricing and Taxes
All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable VAT where required.
- Prices may vary based on region, operator costs, or promotions.
- Sonet may update prices at any time, but changes do not apply to completed orders.
7. Use of Services
You agree to use Sonet's products only for lawful purposes.
You may not:
- Resell eSIMs or data plans without written permission
- Manipulate usage, bypass activation mechanisms, or misuse the service
- Attempt fraud or abusive behavior against the network
Violations may result in service suspension without refund.
8. Data Speeds, Coverage, and Fair Use
Mobile data performance depends on local network conditions, device capability, and partner operator coverage.
Sonet cannot guarantee:
- Specific speeds
- Network availability in all areas
- Uninterrupted connectivity
Some plans may be subject to Fair Use Policies imposed by partner networks.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Key points:
- No refunds after eSIM activation details have been delivered
- No refunds after eSIM activation
- Technical issues must be reported immediately
- All other conditions are stated in the Refund Policy page
10. Technical Requirements
To use a Sonet eSIM, the customer must ensure:
- Their device supports eSIM technology
- Their device is carrier-unlocked
- They follow the correct activation process
Sonet is not responsible for failed activation caused by device incompatibility, user error, or incorrect installation.
11. Liability
Sonet is not liable for:
- Loss of data or content during travel
- Any roaming charges from your primary carrier
- Interruptions caused by telecommunications providers
- Indirect or consequential damages
Sonet's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the affected product.
12. Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to delay or cancel orders if suspicious activity is detected, including:
- Multiple failed payment attempts
- Mismatched identity or payment details
- Unusual usage patterns
Orders canceled for fraud suspicion will be refunded only after verification.
13. Modifications
Sonet may update these Terms of Sale at any time.
- Changes are effective immediately upon publication on our website.
- Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland, unless otherwise required by mandatory local consumer law.
